Margaret Pittman Atkinson, 93, died Friday, April 23, 2010 at her residence. She was the born August 28, 1916 in Waycross, Georgia. She was a member of Whitefield United Methodist Church, the American Legion Ladies Auxillary, and was a past President of the American Business Women's Association. She was retired from C&S National Bank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Atkinson, Sr.
She is survived by her son Harold J. Atkinson, Jr., and his wife Ramona, two grandchildren, Andrew and Christopher Atkinson, one grandson, Carson Atkinson, one step-grandson, Liam Sheehan, and one step-granddaughter, Devin Singleton, all of Savannah.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Bailey officiating.
Remembrances may be made to the Alee Temple, 100 Eisenburg Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
